Like every year, one of my New Year's Resolutions is to lose weight. So once again I have decided to start a weight-loss blog in the hopes of having accountability and staying motivated. Unfortunately, however, that hasn't worked in the past, but I'm hoping this year will be different.
I officially started on Monday the 28th, but I messed up the first day (too many Christmas goodies lingering around). I did well on Tuesday, though, and as of yesterday was already down 2.2 pounds. But we went to a birthday party for my sister-in-law and I had cake, but just a small piece. And today of course is New Year's Eve and we are going to a small party but we're going to eat dinner at home first so I'm going to try and not eat anything there (maybe a few veggies or something) and I'm going to limit my alcohol to one glass of wine.
My goal is to lose at least 20 pounds this year and then I will still need to lose another 20-30 after that.
